History Award, please call Kathy Gourley at 515-281-6913.
All
award recipients will be recognized at an awards ceremony in
May. We would like to illustrate projects during the
awards ceremony. So that we may showcase these projects, each
nomination should include a color slide taken with a digital
camera, or a high-quality color photograph. The image may
depict any aspect of the nominated project.
Selection
Process
Committees
appointed by the Chair of the State Historical Society's
Board of Trustees will review the submissions. The committees
select the finalists, and the Board of Trustees will name the
winners. Members of the Board of Trustees are not eligible for
nomination in any award category during their terms on the
board.
