(DES MOINES) – State Historical Museum staff and volunteers will help children and families make old-fashioned valentine’s keepsakes and other crafts during “HeArt Fest: A Fine Art Show” this weekend at Valley West Mall in West Des Moines.

HeArt Fest will be 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Valley West Mall in West Des Moines. Children and their families will be able to create valentine’s keepsakes suitable for framing during the show, Noon-5 p.m., on both days as part of KidzDuArt. Admission is free and open to the public, but donations will help support the State Historical Museum’s education program.
