Iowa Civil War Sesquicentennial Advisory Committee meets Friday

(DES MOINES) – The Iowa Civil War Sesquicentennial Advisory Committee will meet at 1 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009, at the State Historical Building, 600 E. Locust Street in Des Moines.

The committee will assist the State Historical Society of Iowa in planning, coordinating and implementing activities and programs commemorating Iowa’s involvement in the U.S. Civil War.

The agenda for Friday’s meeting is below:
