Keynote speaker is Steve Thomas of “This Old House” and “Renovation Nation”
(DES MOINES) – The State Historical Society of Iowa is partnering with the Red Oak Historic Preservation Commission to host the state’s annual historic preservation conference next month in Red Oak.
“Vintage Red Oak” will be Sept. 17-19, 2010, in Red Oak and features keynote speaker Steve Thomas, the former host of “This Old House” and current host of “Renovation Nation.” Workshops and sessions will include:
“Vintage Red Oak” is a biennial celebration that grew out of an initiative created by Red Oak residents known as “Red Oak Vision - 7 x 11,” a celebration of all things related to the history of Red Oak.
