Event: Old Fashion Independence Day Celebration July 3, 2005

Time: Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and event will continue until after the Rosenblatt Fireworks Display

Place: Western Historic Trails Center 3434 Richard Downing Ave Council Bluffs,IA 51501

Details: The Western Historic Trails Center will be the site for a flurry of Fourth of July activities offering fun and excitement. Food, including All American hot dogs, traditional summer dishes, sweets and a bake sale will be available.

7 p.m. Yankee Doodle Dandy Movie Theater
9 p.m. Music Man Movie Theater

Other events and activities include Old Fashion Carnival Games, pie contests, costume contest, kids crafts and activities with Butterfly Clown, and entertainment for the entire family. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to enjoy the Rosenblatt Fireworks Display at about 10 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the gate.
