Retrievals of state archives, photograph & manuscript collections are made at the following times:
9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. (Thurs. & Fri. only) and 1 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. (Tue. thru Fri.)
State archives, photograph, and manuscript collections are closed Saturdays unless arrangements are made in advance. Arrangements can be made by calling the reference desk (515) 281-6200 by noon the preceding Friday.

Closed:
All official state holidays and on any Saturday which precedes a Monday or follows a Friday holiday.

The Iowa Battle Flag Project welcomes fund raising projects from business, organizations and schools which wish to participate in the preservation of the Iowa Battle Flags.

Representatives of potential fundraisers are encouraged to contact the Battle Flag Staff for suggestions and assistance.
