"On the Spot" Volunteers Needed at State Historical Building
The State Historical Building is seeking volunteers for several upcoming special
programs. Ask your friends and volunteer as a group! This is a fun and great way
to get involved in volunteering. Volunteers are needed for the following events:
Archaeology Month Program
September 24, 1 to 4 p.m.
Help presenters and oversee hands-on area and scavenger hunt.
Far as the Eye Can See
September 26-30, 10 a.m. performance followed by tours
Direct school groups, assist with programs and activities.
Victorian Family Day
October 1, 10 a.m.to 2 p.m.
Help with Victorian crafts and games in the parlor area, read stories, and help
presenters. Greet and direct visitors. Orientation and training provided. Demonstrate
and play Victorian yard games. Victorian costumes a plus!
Archaeology Month Program
October 2, 1 to 4 p.m.
Help presenters and oversee hands-on area and scavenger hunt.
World Food Festival
October 15, 9 a.m.to 4 p.m.
Help visitors and presenters with hands-on activities and workshops.
